Esotericism

Esotericism (in  Greek  εσωτερικος = inside) is a philosophical-religious concept that designates  knowledge  and teachings obtained through the perception of spiritual phenomena, accessible only  initiates , as opposed to knowledge  exoteric , accessible to all people. Spiritual currents that declare themselves to be esoteric are of great diversity and with varied beliefs, from those based on oriental teachings to forms of esotericism.  Christian .

An esotericism is an occult teaching, doctrine or theory, technique or procedure, of symbolic expression, of metaphysical order, with initiatory intent.

Regardless of religion (Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, etc.), all spiritual paths have an esoteric aspect that focuses on an interpersonal connection with  The Spirit,  God  or the Divine.

In essence, every religion has two components in its composition, regardless of denomination, and is esoteric and esoteric.

Sometimes the word "esotericism" is used in combination with or synonymous with the word "occult." Unfortunately, the application of the term "occult" has been corrupted over time and is believed to be related to the devil or bad things. This is far from the truth.

The word "occult" itself comes from the Latin word occulto - which means "hidden" or "secret".

The mystery surrounding esotericism is created more by people who do not give credibility to their practices or who see the world only from a rational point of view, which is not bad, but we often forget that one of the purposes of life is to discover and we understand ourselves, which is only rationally impossible!

ReiKi

It is a system of spiritual evolution through which man can access the universal source of energy, the Holy Spirit. In all the systems that currently exist on Earth, people talk about this energy, whether they call it bio-energy, or Light, or prana, or chi or ki, it is the same. The difference between systems is how to take this energy and how to use it. In qi qung (chi kung / qi gong), tai chi, tao, it is taken from the atmosphere, from the stars, etc. In Christianity it is taken through prayer, through communion, through the water sanctified by  priest, who has direct access to the universal source (the Holy Spirit), and through Reiki you also have direct access to the source. There is another difference, that of the vibration of the Light, and in this respect the ReiKi is very good - ReiKi masters having a vibration far superior to other practices, less of priests, although there are ReiKi masters who have superior vibration even to priests .

Kabbala

Sephirotic Three.JPG

From a mystical point of view, the term Kabbalah refers to a set of symbols called Sefire and the Divine Name associated with them. It includes practices, meditation techniques, techniques for concentrating on these names, as well as prayers associated with those symbols. They are ways in which divinity manifests itself on the physical plane, but they are also principles by which the practitioner can come to know God, the Sephiris being one of the ways in which we can experience God or be face to face with him in similarly to prophets, patriarchs, Jesus or the apostles.

Seeing the Divine face is a supreme honor. To say the same thing in a simpler and more mundane way, it is necessary to know the name of the person we want to meet and who we want to come face to face with. In the same way, in order to be able to see the face of God, it is essential to know His name.

Kabbalah insists that we must come to see the Divine face, the aspects of God, both in the inner and outer world. The Divine soul or spark within us is constantly seeking to understand the ways of the Divinity and to apply them in the physical plane.

Kabbalah teaches us that the forms we see every day are just masks that cover spiritual things and aspects, principles by which all creation manifests itself. By becoming aware of this, we become aware of how God manifests Himself at every level of creation, how He wants us to perceive it, to experience it, to feel it, and so on.

The main teachings of Kabbalah were aimed at exploring and finding answers to the fundamental questions of:

    • The nature and attributes of God and the image of God.

    • Development of cosmology.

    • The mystery of the creation of angels and the human race.

    • The destiny of humanity and angels.

    • The nature of the human soul and its connection with divinity.

    • The nature of cosmic forces - angels, demons, elemental energies, etc.

    • The hidden meaning of the revealed laws and the Holy Gospels.

    • The transcendental symbolism of numbers and geometric shapes.

    • The mysteries contained in the Hebrew letters.

    • Balance in the action of cosmic forces.

    • The mysteries of divine revelation and the prophetic states of consciousness.

    • The mystery of reincarnation and the divine plan on earth.

Considering the vast height, depth, and spread of these metaphysical questions, we can only imagine the enormous amount of esoteric teachings, practices, and literature formed around Kabbalah over thousands of years.

Hermetism

Hermeticism is a mystical-occult current that appeared in antiquity, whose name comes from the controversial character  Hermes Trismegistus , the author of hermetic writings, also considered the father of  alchemy . This current promotes a doctrine that states that there is only one true theology that is present in all religions and that has been given by God to man. Many Christian writers, including Emerson, Lactantius, Thomas Aquinas, Augustine, Giordano Bruno, Marsilio Ficino, Campanella, and Giovanni Pico della Mirandola, considered Hermes Trismegistus to be a wise pagan prophet who foretold the coming of Christianity. Hermeticism influenced the Church Fathers and the philosophers of the Renaissance in different ways.

As yoga is called a set of disciplines and physical and mental practices that aims to achieve a balance between body and mind, as a way to reach enlightenment and union with the Absolute. As such, the word comes from the Sanskrit "yoga", which means "union", "effort".

The origin of yoga is located in India, in the Indus Valley. However, his age is difficult to determine, but it is speculated that he may be between three and five thousand years old. As such, it is one of the classical doctrines of Hinduism, in which an important influence of the ancient philosophy of samkhya is recognized. His main theorist was Patanyali, the author of Yoga-sutra, a text composed mainly of aphorisms about yoga. As such, the essential goal of yoga is to reunite the being with the Absolute and access to the supreme consciousness that leads us to enlightenment.

Today, yoga has become hugely popular in the West, which has led to a discipline based on Hindu theories, but which has focused primarily on practicing a set of techniques designed to gain greater control of body and mind. In this sense, modern yoga is more of a system of exercises that seeks the person to achieve balance and spiritual harmony, all through meditation and a series of postural and breathing exercises.

The most common and practiced type of yoga today is hatha yoga, which includes a sequence of postures and breathing exercises that strengthen the body and promote relaxation. Also, in yoga the practice of pranayama, a set of exercises for controlling the breath, which is the vital energy and obtaining peace of mind is considered of great importance.

Among its many benefits, yoga helps the individual to have a more harmonious relationship with his body, to control his mind and emotions, as well as to release stress, all of which contribute to achieving a state of well-being.
